The essentials

Hosted in Germany, by Hetzner (European Union).
Nothing is recorded continuously. Rimofy only keeps what you trigger (plus automatic trips, only if you turn them on).
No ads in the app, no data resale.
Export or delete everything from the app, whenever you want.

Your account, memories and their files (photos, documents, kept audio) are stored on Hetzner servers in Germany.
Files are not public: the app shows them through time-limited signed links (7 days at most), issued only to you, and to your family members for what you share with them.
Traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS.
Passwords are hashed (bcrypt), never stored in plain text.

Your voice is transcribed on our own speech-recognition server, which also tells who is speaking in a recording. If it is briefly unavailable, the audio goes through the OpenAI API so your note isn’t lost.
Analysis (title, filing, reminders, meeting notes, Assistant answers) goes through the OpenAI API: the related text, transcript and photos are sent there. Under OpenAI’s API data policy, this data isn’t used to train its models and is kept for at most 30 days for abuse monitoring.
Imports (gallery photos, notes, contacts) come in without analysis: nothing is sent to OpenAI until you tap “Analyse”.
Places: to name where a memory was made, only its coordinates are sent to an OpenStreetMap geocoding service.
Payment goes through Stripe: Lyrra never sees your card number.
Google Calendar, only if you connect it: Rimofy adds the appointments found in your memories and shows yours.
Meta, only if you accept: advertising measurement events (sign-up, first memory, subscription) with your hashed email. Never the content of a memory, never health data.

Your location is only used if you allow it.
Audio: by default only the text is kept and the audio is deleted after transcription. Settings › Keep voice notes to keep the sound.
Health: health notes stay private, never shared with family, and out of Google Calendar unless you turn it on.
Family: every memory is private until you choose to share it.
Lock: fingerprint or face to reopen Rimofy after a minute in the background (Settings).
Calls: nothing is recorded unless you turned it on. Tell people when you record them.
Trash: what you delete stays there 30 days, then is erased for good, files included.
Export: all your memories in a .zip file, from Settings.
Account deletion: immediate, or at the end of the period already paid if you subscribe.
